The Hostel has a total of 174 rooms with a bed capacity of 228 pax.The clientele is mainly university students, low cost budget tourists, young professional and professional young women on transit or long term stay. The YWCA National Hostels continues to maintain its dominance in provision of clean and affordable accommodation to young women and men seeking accommodation in Nairobi.
The hostels entrance was given a new look and more visibility in 2019 by refurbishing the top lounge area and corridor of Blue house block and erecting a new lighted signboard with the new logo.
The hostels have also been given a facelift by repair of some cloakrooms, roofing in Beecher block and painting of the exterior corridor walls and all the exterior walls of all the blocks.
